For over 25 years, Syncrony has been a leader in ecommerce development and custom software solutions for businesses in South Africa and beyond.
Founded in 1999, our mission was to simplify web content management. We built our own CMS before adopting and mastering the DotNetNuke (DNN) platform, which powered websites and enterprise systems for clients such as KFC (YUM! Foods), Famous Brands, CCMA, Bonitas, and Stefanutti Stocks.
By 2005, we expanded into ecommerce, creating one of South Africa’s first ASP .Net online stores. In 2013, we added Magento development to our expertise — delivering high-performance, scalable online stores with secure hosting and ongoing support.
Our innovation continued with BoardCloud, launched for Fidelity Services Group in 2016 and built on the latest .Net Core framework. Today, BoardCloud powers board meetings for companies across South Africa, the UK, USA, Canada, and Africa.

Anthony Sandler

Anthony is a product-focused jack-of-all-trades with over 15 years of customer service experience. He leads BoardCloud Australia and manages our software development projects, collaborating closely with Howard’s team in South Africa to deliver effective and intuitive solutions.
With a multidisciplinary background spanning business ventures, performance, and storytelling, Anthony has brought a unique perspective to BoardCloud. He’s helped shape BoardCloud’s focus on supporting Australia’s Charity and Not-for-Profit sector, fostering a socially conscious and collaborative approach to business.
Howard Rybko

Howard is the visionary founder and Technical Director of Syncrony. With over two decades of experience in software development, digital strategy, and systems integration, he has been instrumental in shaping Syncrony into a leading provider of custom digital solutions.
A passionate technologist and entrepreneur, Howard combines deep technical expertise with a creative approach to problem-solving. He has led the development of numerous enterprise platforms, web applications, and mobile solutions across industries — from finance and healthcare to retail and manufacturing.
